Why should we listen to you anyway?

I mean… fair question. I can’t give you the answer to that. I am one of many voices…

I’m a health and wellbeing coach working for a GP Federation in East Hertfordshire. I give lots of advice to families, and lots of direct support to children, teenagers and young adults helping them navigate their difficult feelings, and find ways to grow more resilience.

That, and these people think I’m alright:

Kevin was a pleasure to work with, very well organised and polite. He would always go the extra mile in the service both for his colleagues and for children and families, showing he was very hard-working and dedicated.

Dr Mairi Emerson-Smith is a Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist who specialises in neurodevelopmental disorders, and working with children, young people and families.

Kevin is always willing to help others. Having him in our team has helped us organise and plan our day to day activities.

Plus, he is well-mannered and easy going, which is essential when communicating with families and neurodivergent people.

Dr Natalia Buron is a Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist who specialises in neurodevelopmental disorders, and working with children, young people and families.

Kevin is enthusiastic and hard-working team member. He is dedicated to his work [with children and young people] and colleagues. He is receptive to change and contribut[ing] to service development.

Kevin can be a great asset to any team.

Joyce Abrafi is an ADHD Nurse Independent Prescriber who specialises in working with children and young people.

Joyce was formerly a Health Visitor.

He is a diligent, personal and powerful campaigner who could make a real difference on a national level.

We need more people like him to navigate the difficult challenges ahead.

Hayden Ostrom Brown is a small business owner.

Hayden was formerly the leader of a political party in Australia.

Kevin was a great asset when working with me. Kevin took the organisation’s change process in his stride, identified problems — and solutions — and helped us through.

We are grateful to him.

Flo Clucas OBE is a Cabinet Member for Safety and Communities on a local authority.

Flo was formerly a member of the European Committee of the regions.

Kevin is a first-rate campaigner and I have asked him on many occasions for advice.

Hannah Thompson is a public affairs expert.

Hannah was formerly the mayoress of Woking and a political campaigns organiser.

Kevin is one of the most hard-working and dedicated people I know. He is friendly and will always lend a hand when you need it.

It’s rare to be both inspiring and down to earth, but Kevin does it.

Kevin is an honest, fun, and hardworking individual who’s driven by his values.

I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside Kevin. He is a leader, I’ve appreciated his advice and support over the last decade.

Alex Harding is a senior civil servant.

Over the years I worked with Kevin on a number of campaigns. He’s one of the hardest working campaigners I’ve had the good fortune to tramp the streets with.

No task too large or small for him.

Geoff Williams MBE is a parish councillor.

Kevin isn’t just someone who goes out and campaigns because he has to, he does it because he genuinely wants to make a difference.

We need more people like that[…].

Joshua Dixon is a campaigns officer working for a large organisation that supports social workers.

I hugely enjoyed working alongside Kevin, who has significant depth of experience working with individuals across a range of seniorities, in complex organisations, and doing so with patience, tact and considerable emotional intelligence. In the instances we worked together he was always very committed and very hardworking, willing to put himself out in order to ensure work was completed effectively and efficiently.

Ben Williams OBE works for a large grant-making charity that supports change-making organisations.

Ben was formerly a Special Advisor in government, chief of staff to the leader of a major political party and local councillor.

Pauline Pearce was formerly a candidate for the mayoralty in Hackney. She shot to fame as the ‘Hackney Heroine’ during the Hackney riots.

I worked alongside Kevin for years.

He was a firm friend to the interests of the devolved nations. He’s also a tireless and inspirational campaigner on diversity issues.

Euan Davidson is a local authority councillor.

Euan was formerly a leading member of a youth political party wing and stood for parliament.

As well as being intelligent and knowledgeable, Kevin is approachable and empathetic. He is a very energetic and persistent campaigner.

Julien Poulain is a leading advocate for people with rare diseases.

Kevin’s an incredible guy; his tireless enthusiasm for the things he cares about makes him a fantastic campaigner and a good friend.

His advice is invaluable, and he’s always been there to help me out when it’s needed.

Charlie Kingsbury was formerly a mayor of his town and a leading member of a youth political party wing.

Kevin is a tireless and passionate campaigner. His dedication […] is inspiring.

He will be an amazing champion[…].

Nicholas Da Costa is a local councillor and an advocate for the highest standards in healthcare.

Kevin is a voice I trust and respect. He is always happy to explain his own position, but equally happy to listen to others.

His broad appeal also means he has a broad approach, and has something useful to say on pretty much every subject. A trusted and worthwhile campaigner and friend.

Lee Dargue is an advocate for mental health service users and for better mental health services.

I’ve known Kevin for years. He is a strong character, and leader, and a great friend.

He stands up for what he believes in, and stands up for other people too. He’s a real friend and a big asset.

Kevin is an incredibly dedicated activist and, although we disagree on some issues, I could never question his commitment to equality and fairness in every aspect of his work.

As a student campaigner, he worked tirelessly to engage others, and any campaign team would be lucky to have him supporting their cause.

Maya Esslemont is a leading campaigner who supports the human rights of everybody who survives human trafficking.

Maya was formerly a student union leader.

Whether it’s campaigning in his local community or being a leading liberal voice on the national stage, Kevin has a great track record.

Sam Phripp is a public affairs officer for a homeless charity.

Equality and fairness are at the centre of Kevin’s open and professional approach. He is a proactive campaigner! I have had the pleasure of working with him and saw first-hand his communication and leadership skills.

Julia Cambridge is a local councillor.

Julia was formerly the mayor of her borough.

Kevin is a very able campaigner who works well with people, including during the most pressured of environments and when personal differences and difficulties arise between others.

He is able to calmly and resolutely produce a solution and work towards it quickly and with minimal fuss. He is the one that resolves conflicts rather than starting or engaging in them.

Additionally, he’s a very nice guy[…]. He has no ego and he just happily gets on with the job of helping people. I can recommend him fully without a second thought.

Kevin has always demonstrated sensitivity towards people and possesses the rare gift of overlooking one’s differences in order to find common ground. He is a genuine, kind and committed individual who does not compromise on his values.

His sense of humour, relaxed demeanour and utmost respect for others are a disarming combination, making him a trusted and beloved confidant for students at our university.

Young adults and children need more Kevin McNamaras in their lives.

Kevin is an enthusiastic campaigner and an effective public speaker. His friendly and engaging manner plus his sense of humour, mean that volunteers enjoy working with him and people are willing to talk to him on the doorstep.

He is always keen to debate about politics and philosophy and frequently gives me cause to consider my own views.

While I may disagree with him in some areas, I can attest that Kevin is a passionate advocate of liberalism and will fight tirelessly to promote it.
